Sindh Excise Department issuing standarized number Plates

Karachi, September 09, 2013 (PPI-OT): The Secretary Excise and Taxation Mr. AijazAhmed Memon has announced for the convenience of motoring public that Motor Registration Wing Karachi of Excise and Taxation Department is issuing standarized Number Plates to the motoring public at the time of registration of vehicles along with the computerized challans and motor vehicle stickers.

He further informed that the back lock occurred due to certain unavoidable circumstances wherein following series of motor vehicle / motor cycles were not supplied original number plates at the time of registration of vehicles.

He informed that now these number plates OF Four Wheeler having series AZJ, AZK, AZL, AZM, AZN, AZP, AZQ, AZR, AZS, AZT, AZU and Two Wheeler/ Motor cycles of the series KGN, KGO, KGP, KGQ will be available from 1st October, 2013 in the office of Motor Registration Wing Civic Centre, Karachi.

He advised to the owners to collect these standarized Number Plates by producing original computerized challan/ original registration book.
