Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori announced that Shahid Memorial will be given one lakh rupees for winning the title of football championship in Karachi Corporation

Karachi, March 14, 2023 (PPI-OT): Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori announced that Shahid Memorial will be given one lakh rupees for winning the title of football championship in Karachi Games 2023 and Rs. Fifty thousand will be given to runner up team of the final. KMC spend not a penny on organizing the Karachi Games 2023 and after 2008 it is a joy for the citizens of Karachi. We are very grateful to all the organizers and sponsors for their efforts to promote sports activities.

In Karachi Games, 42 sports competitions were organized during ten days in which more than 5000 players and athletes participated, he expressed these views while talking to media at the prize distribution ceremony of the Karachi games football tournament at KMC Football Stadium.

On this occasion, Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, Consul General Germany Rudiger Lotz, Administrator Karachi Dr Syed Saifur Rehman, Municipal Commissioner KMC Syed Shujaat Hussain, Football Organizer Mahmood Baig and a large number of fans were also present in the stadium.

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori congratulated Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rahman and his team for the successful organization of Karachi Games 2023 and said that such sports activities should be promoted in the future so that the youth can be motivated towards sports and these young people can shine the name of Pakistan in sports at national and international level.

On this occasion, Local Government Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah while talking to the media said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari supports the football game and is working at regional levels for the promotion of football. Consul General of Germany Rudiger Lotz said that the fans here are very good and the game of football was presented in a very good way, the players have a better attitude to play football and will continue to make the country famous.

Finally, the Chief guest Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori, Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, Consul General of Germany Rudriger Lotz along with Administrator Karachi Dr. Syed Saifur Rehman gave the trophy to the winning team and the runner-up team of the final and wore medals to the players participating in the match. Consul General of Germany Rudriger Lotz also chanted the slogan of the games “Karachi Khele Ga”.
