Sindh Olympic Association will celebrate Independence Day to conduct different sports event in Sindh

Karachi, July 31, 2015 (PPI-OT): Mudassar Arain, Secretary General, SOA has informed that the Sindh Olympic Association will celebrates the Independence Day on 14th August 2015 to conduct the different sports event in the Sindh Province. The Executive Committee Meeting held on today at SOA Office at Panorama Center Karachi under the Chairmanship of Mr. Usama Qadri, President, Sindh Olympic Association. The President SOA instructed to the All Divisional Olympic Associations i.e. Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larakana, Mirpurkhas and Benazirabad and also Provincial Sports Associations to organize the sports activities and celebrates the Independence day on their jurisdiction/ sports.

The Sindh Olympic Association will also supervised the different sports event in the Karachi City.

1. Badminton

2. Boxing

3. Cycling

4. Handball

5. Judo

6. Taekwondo

7. Wushu

8. Weightlifting

9. Netball

10. Throwball

11. Volleyball

12. Sepathakwara

13. Baseball

14. Softball

15. Tug of war

The dates and venues of the above sports event will announced on 12th August 2015. The Closing Ceremony of SOA Independence Day Celebration will be held on 14th August 2015 at Mini Sports Complex, Nazimabad, Karachi.
