Special Communications Organization, Bank Alfalah step into branchless banking

Karachi, August 30, 2016 (PPI-OT):Special Communications Organization (SCO) has partnered with Bank Alfalah to make its entry into the branchless banking system. The product in the name of S-Paisa will soon be launched for the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit -Baltistan. With the launch of S-Paisa, people across Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit- Baltistan would now, be able to send and receive money, pay utility bills and do mobile top ups.

SCO that development is in line with Govt policy of financial inclusion of un-served and underserved area. The initiative aims to serve 6 million people of the region and is expected to have positive socio economic effects on the populace. The contract signing ceremony was attended by Maj Gen Amir Azeem Bajwa, DG SCO and MS. Mehreen Ahmed Group Head from Bank Alfalah.
