Strike in Islamabad against continued detention of Qazi Yasir

Srinagar, June 22, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, life remained paralysed in Islamabad town, today, due to complete strike against the continued illegal detention of noted religious scholar, Qazi Yasir. Shops and business establishments remained closed while traffic was off the road. Work in government offices, banks and private institutions was affected due to the strike.

Qazi Yasir suffered a heart attack at a police station in the Islamabad town and was shifted to a hospital in Srinagar, yesterday.
