Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited’s winding up of M/S. Sui Northern LPG-LNG (Pvt) Limited under companies easy exit scheme (CEES)

Karachi, October 2, 2012 (PPI-OT): This is to inform you that the Board of Directors at its 395th meeting held on September 26, 2012 has accorded approval for winding up of Sui Northern LPG-LNG (Pvt) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary company of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), under Companies Easy Exit Scheme (CEES) launched by Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).

In accordance with the approval of the Board of SNGPL, the members of Sui Northern LPG-LNG (Pvt) Ltd, in their general meeting held on September 27, 2012, unanimously accorded approval for winding up of the subsidiary Company.

Accordingly, all the requisite documents for winding of Sui Northern LPG-LNG (Pvt) Ltd, have been submitted with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to meet the statutory requirements, a copy of the acknowledgement thereof issued by SECP dated September 27, 2012 is enclosed for your information and record, please.
