TeH slams detention of innocent civilian in Bandipora

Srinagar, January 31, 2016 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Hurriyet (TeH) Jammu Kashmir has condemned the detention of an innocent civilian, Nazir Ahmad Rather in Bandipora. Nazir Ahmad is a driver by profession. He was arrested on January 29, evening and lodged in police station. His only sin is that he had rented out his vehicle for ferrying the people to the venue where Tehreek-e-Hurriyet had held Seerat Conference on Friday in Bandipora, a TeH spokesman said in a statement. Terming the detention of Nazir Ahmad Rather as ‘unjustified and unwarranted’, the spokesman demanded his immediate and unconditional release.
