As required, we are enclosing herewith a copy of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s letter No. EMD/233/271/2002-425 dated October 11, 2011 containing approval of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan allowing extension in time upto November 30, 2011 for holding the subject Annual General Meeting of the Company.

Application for Extension in Time for Holding Annual General Meeting

1. Please refer to the captioned application of Mohammad Farooq Textile Mills Limited, (the “Company”) dated September 29, 2011, whereby the Company has requested for extension in time for holding of Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) and laying therein annual audited accounts for the year ended June 30, 2010.

2. In this connection, I am directed to inform you that based on your submissions, the Commission has allowed thirty days extension in time for holding of AGM till November 30, 2011 and laying therein the annual audited accounts of the Company for the year ended June 30, 2011, in term of the provisions of Section 158 and 233 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
