The Karachi Stock Exchange Limited’s suspension of trading in the certificates of Meezan Balanced Fund (Managed By: Al-Meezan Investment Management Limited)

Karachi, June 07, 2013 (PPI-OT): Further to our Notice No. KSE/N-3430 dated June 7, 2013.

In consideration of announcing the final date of book closure for determining the entitlement to the initial Units of the Fund (after conversion) in lieu of the certificates Meezan Balanced Fund in the ratio as prescribed and notified earlier, trading in the certificates of the Fund will be suspended from the date of close of Register of Members i.e. June 17, 2013. The last day of trading through KATS in the certificates of the Fund will be June 13, 2013, however, Negotiated Deals on C-to-C basis will only be allowed at 7+0 upto 12:00 Noon on June 14, 2013.

Separate Notice of Delisting of the Fund will be issued on fulfilment of the relevant requirements.
