Trade and industry condoles demise of Prof. Ghafoor

Karachi, December 31, 2012 (PPI-OT): The trade and industry has widely condoled the sad demise of Jamaat-e-Islami’s Naib Ameer, Prof. Ghafoor Ahmed. Patron In-Chief Aorangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) S M Muneer, Chairman Mohammad Zubair Chhaya, President All Karachi Industrial Alliance, Mian Zahid Hussain and Vice Chairmen, Najmul Arfeen an Niaz Ahmed while expressing their deep sorrow on the death of Prof. Ghafoor Ahmed, Naib Ameer of the Jamaal-e-Islamic said that a golden era of upright and honest politics has ended with the sad demise of Prof. Graford.

They said that Professor Graford Ahmed was a leading figure in the politics of Pakistan and the man of commitment and principle. Throughout his life, Professor Graford Ahmed remained purposefully engaged and led a remarkably productive life. He was always loyal and generous to his work. He was a key figure of the democracy in Pakistan, which led the various movements for the restoration of democracy in the country. “The nation has lost an icon of truthfulness and honesty”, Zubair Chhaya said adding that his gap will never be filled. They prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
