They also said that killings and kidnapping for ransom have increased during the Holy month of Ramazan. Four Bomb basts took place within a short span of one hour in Karachi. Seven people were killed in a bomb blast which took place at the thickly populated Lyari during a football match.

The situation is worsening day by day and businessmen are receiving Bhatta parchis. Bhatta mafia is active and people due to fear of kidnapping for ransom are closing their business. They urged upon the government of Sindh and the Federal government to handover control to the Army for at least 4 to 6 weeks to restore peace and normalcy in the whole of Sindh after which they should return to the barracks.
