Trade Development Authority of Pakistan will organise single country exhibition in Sri Lanka

Karachi, September 30, 2015 (PPI-OT):TDAP will organise Single Country Exhibition at Sri Lanka in January, 2016.During the recent visit of President of Pakistan to Sri Lanka it was decided that both countries will organise Single Country Exhibitions which will be supported by the relevant authorities. The High Commission of Pakistan at Sri Lanka is putting all efforts to make this event successful.

The exhibition is organised under the patronage and support of Government of Sri Lanka. It is expected that large number of people will visit the event. This event will be organised at a major Exhibition Centre BMICH in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 15th to 17th January, 2016.

Major components of Single Country Exhibition will be exhibition display, Business to business meetings and Pakistani cuisine festival. Renowned companies from Textile, Agro, Engineering, Marble and Granite, Handicrafts, Garments and Accessories, Jewellery sector will participate in the event.

The exhibition will be a true showcase of the progressive Pakistan with collective presence of top Pakistani brands in the event. It is pertinent to mention that Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is operational from June 12, 2005. Under the Free Trade Agreement, Sri Lanka and Pakistan have agreed to offer preferential market access to each other’s’ exports by way of granting tariff concessions.
