Tramboo denounces arrest of Hurriyet leaders in IOK

Srinagar, February 08, 2014 (PPI-OT): The Patron of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front-R, Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo, has strongly denounced the arrest of Hurriyet leaders including Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Nayeem Ahmed Khan and Mushtaq-ul-Islam in occupied Kashmir. Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo in a statement issued in Srinagar deplored that the occupation authorities were not allowing the Kashmiris to register their protest peacefully. He termed the arrests as the state terrorism and said that these acts had proved that the puppet authorities were hell bent to suppress the just struggle of the Kashmiri people.

Barrister Abdul Majeed Tramboo said that Indian police was trying to arrest the JKLF-R Chairman, Farooq Ahmed Dar, and senior party leader, Wajahat Qureshi, for the past several days. He said that such tactics could not subdue the liberation sentiment of the Kashmiri people.
