Water supply from Left Bank Canal to remain close from Feb 04 to Feb 07 2014

Islamabad, February 02, 2014 (PPI-OT): A spokesperson of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said that due to annual repair and maintenance, Left Bank Canal of Khanpur Dam which supply water to Islamabad will remain closed from February 4 to February 7, 2014. This canal closure will cause shortage of water supply to the F-10, F-11, G-9 and G-10 sectors.

CDA spokesman has requested the residents of these sectors of the city to be careful and calculated in use of water during these four (4) days of canal’s closure. The spokesman further said that in case of water shortage residents may call CDA water tanker service.
