Synoptic Situation

A westerly wave is affecting most parts of the country. A fresh westerly wave is likely to enter western/southern parts of the country on 21st of March and may grip upper and central parts for next 02-03 days.

Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain with thundershowers is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Lower Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Tuesday

Dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain with thundershowers is likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Lower Sindh, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Rain-thundershower occurred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Punjab, North-East Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan. Highest rainfall (mm): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Kakul 34, Malam Jabba 11, Darosh 05, Dir (Lower 02, Upper 01), Mirkhani 02, Saidu Sharif 01, Kashmir: Rawalakot 24, Garhi Dupatta 12, Muzaffarabad (Airport 05), Punjab: Islamabad (City 10), Rawalpindi (Shamsabad 07, Chaklala 03, Kachhari 02), Murree 05, Kot Addo 03, Khanpur, Balochistan: Barkhan 04, Gilgit-Baltistan: 01 mm of rain was recorded in Astore.
