Women’s T20 cricket included at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

In a historic move, the International Cricket Council and Commonwealth Games Federation confirmed the inclusion of women’s T20 cricket t the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.

In a statement, President of the Common wealth Games Federation Dame Louise Martin said today is an historic day and we are delighted to welcome the sport of cricket back to the Commonwealth Games.

Eight international teams will compete in the 2022 Commonwealth Game.

All matches will be played at the Edgbaston cricket ground.
