10th ECO Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction Begins in Islamabad

Islamabad: The 10th Ministerial Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization on Disaster Risk Reduction has commenced in Islamabad. The meeting, which started on Wednesday, aims to address regional challenges related to disaster risk management.

According to Radio Pakistan, the gathering brings together ministers and senior officials from ECO Member States, along with representatives from the ECO Secretariat and various regional and international partner organizations. Delegations from countries including Pakistan, Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan are attending the two-day event. The meeting is being held at the headquarters of the National Disaster Management Authority.
