1100 More Electric Buses to Reach Punjab by December: CM

Pakpattan: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that eleven hundred more electric buses will arrive in Punjab by December this year to provide modern and economical transport facilities throughout the province. Addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Electric Bus service in Pakpattan today, she emphasized the growing demand for electric buses.

According to Radio Pakistan, these buses are equipped with modern facilities and charge only 20 rupees for the entire route. Additionally, students, females, senior citizens, and special persons can avail of this service free of cost. Maryam Nawaz highlighted that women passengers will have their independent compartment on these buses, which will be monitored through CCTV cameras to avoid any untoward incidents.
