Lahore: The 12th death anniversary of legendary folk singer Reshma was observed today. Reshma, known for her soulful voice and timeless music, has left an indelible mark on the world of folk music.

According to Radio Pakistan, Reshma was born in Rajasthan in 1947 and became widely recognized as the Nightingale of the Desert. Her contributions to the music industry were celebrated with numerous national awards, including the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz and Legends of Pakistan.

Reshma passed away in Lahore in 2013, leaving behind a legacy of enchanting melodies that continue to resonate with music lovers around the world.
