13-Day Anti-Measles Campaign Launched in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Islamabad: In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, a 13-day anti-measles special campaign has been started for raising awareness among the masses to protect children aged 6 months to 5 years. As part of this initiative, the health authorities aim to ensure that children in this age group receive necessary vaccinations to safeguard them against measles and rubella diseases.

According to Radio Pakistan, over six hundred thousand children will be inoculated during this extensive drive. The health department has outlined a strategic plan to ensure the campaign’s success, with efforts focused on reaching every child within the specified age range. The campaign is scheduled to run until the 29th of this month, providing ample time for the health workers to cover the targeted population effectively.
