1,357 Pakistani Pilgrims Arrive in Madinah as Pre-Hajj Flights Commence

Madinah: Pakistan’s pre-Hajj flight operation that began yesterday has transported one thousand three hundred fifty-seven intending pilgrims to Madinah through flights from various cities of Pakistan. The pilgrims reaching Madinah were received at the airport by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq, Consul General Syed Mustafa Rabbani, and other officials.

According to Radio Pakistan, all arriving pilgrims were transported to the Markaziyah area of Madinah, which is the district immediately surrounding Masjid al-Nabawi. The Pakistani Hajj mission has secured housing in the area for all one hundred and nineteen thousand two hundred and ten pilgrims traveling under this year’s government scheme. The pilgrims expressed gratitude to the Pakistani and Saudi governments for making the best arrangements.

The pre-Hajj operation is expected to continue until the main Hajj period begins.
