15 days fumigation drive launched against dengue: Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar

Karachi, April 14, 2016 (PPI-OT):On the directives of Health Minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar a 15 days comprehensive drive against Dengue and Malaria larvae was launched and during the campaign almost 150 tyre shops, 35 big parks and dozens of other public places were fumigated.

Program manager Dengue Control Program Sindh Dr Masood Solangi, while briefing the Provincial Minister Health, told that during the drive against Dengue and Malaria millions of larvae were destroyed and he added that another drive against Dengue had been initiated in Karachi in collaboration with KMC and would continue till 29th April and all districts would cover.

He also informed that 30 vehicles would participate in fumigation drive and all out efforts would be made to make the drive a success. The Health Minister directed the program manager to ensure that every nook and corner of mega city to be covered and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard.
