Lahore: Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced that one hundred and fifty-five railway stations will transition to solar power by the end of this year.
According to Radio Pakistan, Abbasi made this announcement while presiding over a meeting in Lahore on Wednesday. He also directed the relevant authorities to conduct immediate inspections of all passenger and railway bridges across the country to ensure safety and efficiency.
The Minister further stated that escalators at Lahore Railway Station would be made operational within this month to improve convenience for passengers.
