27 Pakistanis Set to Depart Uganda for Pakistan

Kampala: Twenty-seven Pakistanis are set to fly out of Uganda to Pakistan, as confirmed by Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi.

According to Radio Pakistan, updates regarding Pakistanis detained in Kampala indicate that around 30 others are preparing to arrange their air tickets in the near future. Andrabi mentioned that the remaining individuals will also depart, as they are currently on visit visas.

The spokesperson noted that immigration authorities have imposed financial penalties on the individuals. However, discussions are ongoing between the Pakistani Embassy team and Ugandan authorities to seek a waiver for these penalties.
