5-Day Anti-Polio Campaign Set to Launch in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: A five-day anti-polio campaign is set to commence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa starting Monday.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the campaign more than 7.3 million children up to five years of age will be administered the anti-polio vaccine.

The Provincial Health Department has organized thirty-five thousand teams to conduct door-to-door visits, ensuring that each child receives the anti-polio drops. In a bid to maintain the safety of the polio teams, around 50,000 security personnel have been deployed across the province.
