Karachi, April 06, 2015 (PPI-OT): Secretary, Livestock and Fisheries Department, Government of Sindh Mr. Noor Muhammad Leghari has stated that today on 6th April, 2015 an incident has occurred apposite to the Pasni Fish Harbour (Shamal Bandar), where unknown armed persons fired from a speed boat namely Al-Dolat over the crew of Sindh based boat namely Sakhi Sultan Abdul Wahab Shah Jillani bearing Registration number 20611-B, injuring section (07) fishermen.
The Pakistan Cost-Guards has rescued the injured fishermen and shifted them to Pasni Hospital. The armed persons on speed boat Al-Dolat were not recognized as their faces were covered. The Secretary Livestock and Fisheries contacted with the Secretary Fisheries Baluchistan and discussed over the issue, further a meeting has been fixed with Secretary Baluchistan on 13th April, 2015 to discuss the issue in depth so as to avoid such incidents in future.
