Bannu: Eight khwarij have been sent to hell, while seven others got injured in an intelligence-based operation by security forces in general area Bakka Khel in Bannu District.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the operation, intense exchange of fire took place resulting in shahadat of Major Atif Khalil, a brave officer, who was leading his troops from the front and was fighting gallantly.
Two soldiers, Naik Azad Ullah and Lance Naik Ghazanfar Abbas, also embraced martyrdom. Meanwhile, one Kharji has been killed, while another was apprehended in injured condition in an intelligence-based operation in Zhob District.
Security forces are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism, and such sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthen the nation’s resolve.
