8-Member delegation of Karachi Press Club met with the Governor of Sindh

Karachi, March 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): An 8-member delegation of Karachi Press Club met Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori at Governor House. Governor Sindh while paying tribute to the s of Karachi Press Club for the survival, stability and promotion of democracy, said that Karachi Press is the guardian of democratic traditions, holding regular elections in this institution is worthy of praise.

Kamran Khan Tesori said that the importance of journalism cannot be denied as it is the fourth pillar of the state, he said that journalists are the eyes and ears of the society and because of them, the government gets awareness of public issues. Governor Sindh said that he will talk to the owners to pay the salaries and dues of the media workers. The delegation included Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, Deputy Chairman Mushtaq Sohail, Joint Secretary Aslam Khan, Members Governing Body Shams Careo, Zulfiqar Wahoocho, Zulfiqar Rajpar, Farooq Sami, Ramiz Wahra.
