Islamabad, February 02, 2023 (PPI-OT):Under the CPEC, China played a key role in controlling the shortfall of electricity in Pakistan, for which the entire nation, including me, is grateful to the government and people of China. The Prime Minister’s meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of China Atomic Energy Authority (CAEA) Liu Jing, Director of Chinese Embassy in Pakistan Pang Chunxue and relevant high level Chinese officials. Apart from this, Federal Ministers Ishaq Dar, Ahsan Iqbal, Engineer Khurram Dastagir, Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi, Tariq Bajwa and related officials also participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on China’s investment in nuclear energy projects in Pakistan. The delegation paid tribute to the Prime Minister for his personal interest and efforts for the completion of K3.
