AAC Mourns Loss of Former Kashmir University Vice-Chancellor

Srinagar: The Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed sorrow over the passing of Professor Abdul Wahid Qureshi, a prominent educationist and former Vice-Chancellor of Kashmir University, describing it as a significant loss to academic and literary communities.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the AAC, in a condolence message, paid tribute to Professor Qureshi’s extensive educational contributions, acknowledging his pivotal role as the head of Kashmir’s leading academic institution. The AAC and its Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq offered prayers for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the late professor and extended their condolences to his family.

Additionally, the AAC expressed grief over the death of the mother of broadcaster Talha Jahangir Rehmani, extending condolences to Talha Jahangir and his family and praying for Jannat-ul-Firdous for the departed soul.
