Academic Leaders Forum Begins in Islamabad

Islamabad: The OIC-COMSTECH, in collaboration with the World Universities Association for Community Development, inaugurated an academic leaders forum in Islamabad today. A thirteen-member international delegation representing WUACD-affiliated universities from the Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Australia is participating in the forum.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Coordinator General OIC-COMSTECH, Prof Dr M Iqbal Choudhary, addressed the inaugural session, highlighting the critical role universities must play in community development and preparing graduates for future challenges in an era marked by uncertainty, misinformation, and rapid global change. He further emphasized that the strengthened collaboration between COMSTECH and WUACD would open new avenues for academic exchange, research partnerships, and capacity building across member countries.
