Acting President and Prime Minister Encourage Youth to Pursue Greatness Through Hard Work.

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif paid heartfelt tribute to national poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his 147th birth anniversary.

According to Radio Pakistan, Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani highlighted that Allama Iqbal’s work united the Muslims of the Subcontinent, inspiring them to strive for a separate nation. He emphasized that Iqbal’s message centered on Islamic values and the spiritual and cultural revival, which has been instrumental in shaping Pakistan’s identity. Gillani added that Iqbal’s vision continues to resonate with the youth, guiding them to uphold the country’s values and strive for progress.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, reflected on Iqbal’s philosophy, which sparked the dream of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent, ultimately leading to the creation of Pakistan. He stated that the teachings of Allama Muhammad Iqbal on self-reliance, self-awareness, and unity remain a
vital source of inspiration for the nation. The Prime Minister urged the youth to transcend mediocrity and achieve greatness through steadfast faith and hard work.
