Acting President Vows to Strengthen Legal, Judicial System

Islamabad: Attorney General of Pakistan Mansoor Usman Awan called on the Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in Islamabad today. The Acting President underscored the pivotal role which the office of the Attorney General of Pakistan, being the Chief Legal Advisor to the government, plays in upholding the rule of law and ensuring swift dispensation of justice to cultivate democratic values.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Attorney General apprised the President about various reforms undertaken within his office and reiterated full commitment to serve the nation. The Acting President reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen the legal and judicial system of Pakistan.
