Acting President Yousuf Raza Gilani Engages in Key Discussions with Former Ministers and PPP Delegation

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani held separate meetings with former federal ministers Noor-ul-Haq Qadri and Azam Khan Swati in Islamabad today. The discussions focused on the current law and order and the political situation in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Acting President also met with a delegation of PPP representatives from South Punjab. The delegation included Barrister Mudasir Shah, the PPP ticket-holder for MPA from Multan; Imdad Ullah Abbasi, District President of PPP Lodhran; and Zaman Langrial, the PPP ticket-holder from Kabirwala, Khanewal. They informed him about the issues concerning their respective areas.

Later in the day, Ali Umar Alvi also visited the Acting President to discuss matters of mutual interest, further emphasizing the importance of these discussions amidst the current political landscape.
