Adamjee Life Assures Shareholders of Electronic Dividend Credit for Mid-Year Distribution

Karachi: Shareholders of Adamjee Life Assurance Company Limited have received their interim cash dividends for the first half of 2024, marking a significant adherence to corporate and regulatory mandates. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), on September 13, 2024, dividends were electronically deposited into accounts of shareholders who had provided necessary banking and identification details.

This year’s distribution of Rs. 1.00 per share, which equates to a 10% dividend on the par value of Rs. 10 per share for the period ending June 30, 2024, was meticulously executed under the stringent rules set forth by the PSX. Compliance with Rule 5.6.9 ensured transparency and timeliness in the crediting of dividends. Additionally, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan’s requirements, underpinned by Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and SRO 1145(1)/2017, have been rigorously observed.

For shareholders who have yet to update or provide their complete banking details, the company has withheld dividends in accordance with legal stipulations. These individuals are urged to submit their 24-digit International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) and a legible CNIC copy to the CDC Share Registrar Services Limited at CDC House in Karachi to facilitate future distributions.

In preparation for tax season and personal record-keeping, shareholders can access detailed statements of their dividends, including tax and zakat deductions, through the Centralized Cash Dividend Register. Registration is available online, promoting ease and accessibility for all recipients.

Further announcements are scheduled, including a public notice on September 16, 2024, detailing the successful completion of this dividend credit.
