Afghanistan Earthquake: Taliban Appeals for International Aid

Kabul: The Afghan government has issued an appeal for international assistance to address the destruction caused by a recent earthquake. A spokesperson for the health ministry in Kabul, Sharafat Zaman, informed media outlets that a significant number of people have lost their lives, and many houses have been destroyed as a result of the earthquake.

According to Radio Pakistan, the earthquake has resulted in the deaths of over 800 individuals and has left at least 2,800 people injured. The Afghan authorities are seeking international support to manage the aftermath and provide necessary aid to the affected population.
