Ahsan Iqbal Advocates for Nature-Based Construction Material

Islamabad: Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal announced that the government has developed green building codes to facilitate the construction of eco-friendly infrastructure across the country. During a ceremony in Islamabad, he stressed the importance of utilizing nature-based construction materials to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal urged all stakeholders, including the private sector and local development authorities, to promote green building projects, especially in major urban areas. He elaborated on the key features of green buildings, noting that they offer nature-based solutions to environmental challenges.
