Ahsan Iqbal Calls on Youth to Combat Fake News and Hate Speech

Islamabad:Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has called on young people to distance themselves from fake news, hate speech, and political polarization on social media.

According to Radio Pakistan, speaking at a ceremony, Ahsan Iqbal emphasized that social media is increasingly being used to spread misinformation and manipulate public opinion.

He highlighted that fake news and polarization are significant challenges currently facing societies. He urged the youth to verify information before sharing it and to refrain from spreading hatred and using abusive language online.
