Ahsan orders construction of 400 houses in flood-hit Balochistan

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has directed authorities concerned to construct at least four-hundred houses in every flood affected area of Balochistan.

He was chairing a meeting of Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in Islamabad today to review the situation of the flood affected areas in Balochistan.

The Minister instructed the relevant authorities to provide all amenities, including education and health, to the flood victims during the rehabilitation process.

He said that the federal government is committed to extend full cooperation to the provincial government in this regard.

Ahsan Iqbal said that government is also focusing on other sectors of province including agriculture and irrigation to generate employment opportunities for locals.
