Ahsan Reiterates Govt’s Pledge to Strengthen Economic Foundation

Lahore: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has reiterated the Government’s pledge to strengthen the country’s economic foundation. Talking to media in Lahore, he emphasized the importance of digital transformation and youth empowerment as key elements for the nation’s progress.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that increasing Pakistan’s Tax-to-GDP ratio from ten percent to fifteen percent is essential for reducing reliance on external borrowing and ensuring self-reliance in national development.
