Ahsan Urges Banks to Establish Window for Small Loans to SMEs

Karachi: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has urged banks to establish an export development window offering small loans particularly for small and medium enterprises. Chairing a meeting of banks’ presidents in Karachi, he emphasized the crucial importance of the financial sector in promoting export growth, enhancing agricultural exports, and fostering industrial development.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal stated that Pakistan has the potential to achieve significant progress, positioning itself as a compelling example of rapid development. He also called for launching scholarship programs for the workforce and introducing laptop leasing schemes.
