AJK EC Approves Schedule for By-Elections on 13 Vacant Local Body Seats

Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir Election Commission has approved the schedule for by-elections on thirteen vacant local body seats. The approval was granted by Chief Election Commissioner Azad Jammu and Kashmir, retired Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, during a meeting held in Muzaffarabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Election Commissioner issued instructions to send a formal letter to the Chairman of NADRA. This directive aims to implement the Computerized Electoral System across all district offices to ensure a transparent and effective election process. Additionally, the decision was made to provide special training to registration officers. This training will focus on the registration of voters from constituencies of refugees residing in Pakistan.
