AJK President Calls for International Intervention in Kashmir Dispute

New York: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has called upon the international community to play their due role in settling the Kashmir dispute. He expressed these views during a meeting with United States’ Congressman Tom Souzzi in New York.

According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK President emphasized to Congressman Souzzi that peace in the subcontinent is contingent upon the resolution of the decades-old Kashmir dispute. He highlighted that Kashmir is pivotal for peace in South Asia, underscoring the fact that both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers. Any conflict, whether minor or major, between these two nations could potentially have global repercussions.
