Karachi, July 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): In accordance with Clause (xx) of the Listing Regulations No. 35 under Code of Corporate Governance, we are please to convey the following information.

The Board of Directors of AKD Investment Management Limited (the ” AKDIML “) have approved the Scheme of Arrangement for merger/ amalgamation of Pak Oman Asset Management Company Limited (“POAMCL”) with and into AKDIML subject to no objection and sanction of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under Section 282L of the Companies Ordinance, 1984. The Scheme shall be subject to such changes and modifications as may be approved by the shareholders and as may be required by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) of the shareholders of AKDIML will be convened for approval of the merger after receipt of NOC from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan.

AKDIML is the manager of the following collective investment schemes:

1. AKD Aggressive Income Fund
2. AKD Opportunity Fund
3. AKD Index Trakker Fund
4. AKD Cash Fund
5. AKD Arrow Selected Stocks Fund
