Aleem Khan Lauds Completion of Upgradation Work on Murree Expressway

Murree: Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has expressed satisfaction over the completion of the upgradation work on the Murree Expressway. During his visit to Murree today, he inspected various sections of the expressway.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister directed the authorities concerned to take immediate measures to further improve traffic flow at Lower Topa. He also instructed the National Highway Authority to ensure a modern design for the new roundabout at Lower Topa to facilitate smoother traffic, especially for visitors.

Abdul Aleem Khan also approved the construction of additional rest areas along both sides of the Murree Expressway to provide better travel facilities to tourists coming from far-off areas. While visiting newly constructed rest areas and mosques, he emphasized that there should be no compromise on cleanliness, the provision of clean drinking water, and other basic facilities. He appreciated the availability of separate prayer arrangements for women and stressed the need to maintain this standard.
