Aleem Urges Transporters to Ensure Axle Load Compliance

Islamabad: A delegation of All Pakistan Goods Transport Association (APGTA) led by Chairperson Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Gill called on Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan in Islamabad today. During the meeting, issues pertaining to the transport sector came under discussion.

According to Radio Pakistan, Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that strict adherence to axle load compliance is not only a regulatory requirement but also a strategic benefit for the goods transporters themselves. He stated that strict compliance with axle load significantly reduces vehicle wear and tear, minimizes maintenance costs, and is essential for the preservation of the country’s road infrastructure.

The Minister urged the goods transporters association to play a proactive role in convincing all stakeholders regarding adherence to axle load.
