Algeria Praises Pakistan’s Role in Promoting Regional Peace

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Foreign Minister of Algeria Ahmed Attaf on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem in Amman today. The two sides discussed Pakistan-Algeria bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, information technology, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.

According to Radio Pakistan, appreciating their regular exchanges, the two leaders agreed to remain closely engaged to further strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including the situation in Occupied East Jerusalem and recent developments relating to Iran.

Foreign Minister of Algeria appreciated Pakistan’s continued constructive role and diplomatic efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region.
