Ali Pervaiz Calls for Modernizing Exploration Techniques

Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik has stressed the importance of modernizing exploration techniques to support Pakistan’s oil, gas, and mineral sector that will help fulfill the economic needs of the country. He laid this emphasis during his visit to the Geological Survey of Pakistan in Islamabad to review its operations and discuss strategies for enhancing the country’s mineral and hydrocarbon resource exploration potential.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister commended the role of the Geological Survey of Pakistan in national development by providing critical data to initiate resource exploration. He noted that the right investments in technology and expertise can help unlock vast opportunities in minerals, ensuring economic security and driving industrial growth.

Ali Pervaiz Malik further expressed the government’s commitment to facilitating the Geological Survey of Pakistan with advanced tools and international collaborations to accelerate geological research.
