Alliance with PPP to Remain Intact: Law Minister

Islamabad: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has said the alliance with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will remain intact. He made these remarks in the National Assembly today after the PPP staged a walkout from the House, expressing concern that the government is not considering its suggestions seriously for the relief and rehabilitation of flood-affected people.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Law Minister stated that both the PML-N and the PPP joined hands for strengthening the democratic system. He emphasized that it is a union of minds, based on democratic ideology. Azam Nazeer Tarar assured that the government will sort out all issues with the PPP.

Later, the chair adjourned the House to meet again on Friday at eleven am.
