Amna Baloch Appointed as Pakistan’s 33rd Foreign Secretary

Islamabad: Amna Baloch has officially taken office as the 33rd Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, following the retirement of her predecessor, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi. This appointment marks a significant milestone in her distinguished career in diplomacy.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Amna Baloch is a seasoned diplomat with a wealth of experience. She has held numerous key positions both in Pakistan and overseas, contributing to the shaping of Pakistan’s foreign relations on multiple fronts. Her previous roles include serving as Pakistan’s Consul General in Chengdu, China, High Commissioner to Malaysia, and Ambassador to the European Union, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
